Indian medical care goes global

This article quotes that "India could earn more than $1 billion annually and create 40 million jobs by sub-contracting work from the British National Health Service (NHS) alone. "

http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/004054B8-F475-4C40-872D-5E0D91D25B12.htm

The article mentions that Indian medical colleges turn out 30000 doctos annually. But is this enough? I guess, engineering colleges turn out 5 lakh engineers, most of it from the private engineering colleges.

The reach of the medical facilities in rural India is poor. There are good opportunities in the medical tourism sector. Wouldn't it be a necessity to increase the number of doctors being turned out annually?
